Mrs Shelley's unique information!

Hhhiiiyyyaaa!!! Today we are being healthier and having lamb with quinoa. Now you may think it is a strange concoction and you may be right, but it works. I promise you it does.

Let me tell you what I had to do today. I had to cut a quarter of my zucchini off because it was quite soft. The rest was alright. I think I left it too long again. Why can't I ever learn to just make the meal earlier in the week. Will you stop it right now. On a side note, I absolutely love zucchini but the kids don't. I had to tell them I am not making separate meals anymore. We need to have a variety of foods. Guess what? They've only started being adventurous and ate it and found it was very nice. Well wouldn't you know!

Lamb is my favourite meal. I would favour lamb over turkey and ham at Christmas. I love the roast, the steaks, the curries and stirfry meals with lamb. Gosh it's expensive though.

I love hommus so I found some in the fridge I had not even used yet. I was going to have it as a dip but didn't use it and thought "oh well, lets use it up and chuck it in the quinoa". I bought the quinoa for something but I do think it can be a little tasteless. You have to add something to it. Hommus did the trick.

Once I cooked and served the meal and ate a quarter of it, I wanted something else in that dish and I topped it with sweet chilli sauce. Try it if you feel like something is missing. You won't be disappointed.

Hope you enjoy.

Love Mrs Shelley
