Oooooh a very quick Beef Teriyaki Bowl recipe for you here. I love a quick recipe when I am short on time.
Have you ever wished you could have steak earrings? I do. You are probably wondering what the heck. If you have not watched my video on my social media channels, I always hold some form of food to my ears if I think they will make a good pair of earrings. I maybe should bring out my own brand.
With the steak you can dice it before you fry. Oooh what a saying "dice before your fry", love it. I mention that you can cook your steak to your liking. I like my steak well done but you may like your steak rare and so the timing will be different on how long you fry it for. You can also do what I did and cut after you have fried. Don't forget you can also bbq your steak instead. You don't have to copy me. Go rogue, do your own thing.
I needed convenience today so I bought a Birds Eye packet of frozen stir fry vegetables but you can easy do your own fresh version. You do you. I'm no Nara Smith. When you pour your water in the veg, if you don't think it's enough for your quantity of veg then add a little more. Everyone's quantities are different. I would also say add more Teriyaki sauce if you wish. Some like it just coated and some like a real saucy dish. See how it looks when you are cooking it. If you want more, add it. It's your meal. Go on, do it.
I also went with a microwaveable packet of rice of my choosing. You can get any make or you can make your own rice. I couldn't be bothered today. I was time poor. You can also mix this in with the beef and veg. I didn't because I have a fussy eater.
I am absolutely in love with Teriyaki sauce and Kewpie dressing. It reminds me of my trip to Japan last year and how much I would love to go back and how much I enjoyed their food. Take me back please.
As always, my sausage dogs Charlie and Lola are awaiting at my feet to see if I drop some beef accidentally on the floor. I don't, but I may do it accidentally on purpose and their tails wag to high heaven.
I hope you enjoy it.
